Pasture Aerator – BBS

The Erdvark Pasture Aerator is a rolling blade type. The blades are mounted on a graduating spiral around a heavy duty drum. These blades are mounted parallel with the rolling action of the drum and cracked the soil open up to twice the blade length. That will break down natural density, animal compaction, mechanical compaction and compaction associated with heavy rains causing silt layers.
The Pasture Aerator will leave slots for oxygen and water to penetrate deep into the soil. That will stimulate root growth and the grass will have access to more nutrients and oxygen increase plant growth with a higher yield of quality hay.

a) The primary function of the Aerator is to break through the upper crust of the soil and let water and oxygen in.
b) Build tuff for light and heavy soil as well as rocky conditions.
c) Fitted with a heavy duty drum and multi-blades on a graduating spiral.
d) The drum can be filled with water or additional can be loaded on the upper bucket.
e) The blade can crush brush up to 100mm and is capable of cracking soil open double the blade length for better water absorption and aeration.
f) Guillotine type blades for better cutting and soil penetration, manufactured from a special hard wearing steel.
g) It is a no tilt operation, do not turn the soil over but loosen it. It will break through a hard pan and compaction layers in soil with excellent soil erosion resistance.
h) Heavy duty re-enforced frame for tuff conditions.
i) The Aerator will reduce rundown water and the soil will absorb much more water. Water will penetrate deep into the root zone, acting as a sponge.
j) The sealed Erdvark Bearing unit with Due-cone seals will keep all sand and dust out under normal working conditions. The unit will give many hectares of hassle-free aeration.
k) The aerated soil will do very well after the first rains or irrigation and the quality and quantity will improve.
l) Seed from the grass, loose soil and mulch will enter the perforated slots and new grass seedlings will appear after the rain.
